Learning outcomes

Students are able to:
1 Analyse and critically reflect upon the contents of academic papers, professional articles on new business model frameworks based on multiple value creation
2 Critically evaluate, integrate and reflect upon academic papers and professional articles clips on new business model frameworks in the form of an essay.
3 Apply and integrate the principles of multiple value creation, design structure, value proposition and community building to create a prototype of a new business model in the energy domain.
4 Present the prototype and communicate the outcomes of the prototyping process to a members of the community of learners

Content

Students will be challenged to live their new business models in energy dream. That is shaping the energy transition dream by designing and ultimately delivering a prototype of a new business model in energy business.
To build a new business model, students must be able to
• understand and reflect on relevant sustainability trends and developments
• understand and reflect on (dis)similarities between conventional and new business models
• apply various business model components
• critically reflect on relevant literatures
