Content

In the master workshops, a synergetic connection and integration of the various curriculum components, learning contents and professional products are sought. The respective professional roles of artist, educator and researcher are central to this for each master's workplace.

In the master's workshop Art Theory and Artistic Processes, the emphasis is on the role of the artist.
During the so-called LAB days, a basic form of artistic research takes place on the basis of the thematic texts from the seminars.
The artistic research during the LAB days is based on self-chosen questions, which are also leading when writing the essay.
In an autobiographical learning biography, the student reflects on his/her competence and vision development, using insights obtained during the research into his/her role as an artist, individually and within the community of learners. The students' different professional practices create a rich learning community in which each other's expertise can be questioned in a peer dialogue.
