Content

The course Basic Medical Scientific Foundation is an introductory course offering the following basic medical sciences: general gross anatomy, physiology (ie biochemistry, cell and function, histology and lymph system & defense), pharmacology,  behavior and communication (including health psychology) and evidence based practice. This information is acquired by means of lectures and tutorials. The role of this block within the curriculum is to promote synchronicity in knowledge and attitude between the students in order to increase the effectiveness of the subsequent units of study.
