Learning outcomes
You know different aspects of intercultural communication and intercultural cooperation and reflect during working lectures, (online) group meetings and in an individual reflection report on these aspects and your intercultural communication and cooperation.
You carry out a research project as a group in an international project group where you present the findings orally in English to all participants.
You contribute to the international project week by participating with an open mind and respect in the social and cultural activities and fulfilling a task within it.
You run a clinical chemistry laboratory as a team: you receive biological samples , record and analyze them by performing various determinations - using the (self-developed) SOPs and preparations from previous modules -, coordinate logistics, handle biological material and patient data safely and reliably, and communicate correctly with team members, physician, clinical chemist and patients.
You work effectively together as a team where you are able to agree on division of labor and communication and act appropriately on unexpected events during the shop floor simulation.

Content
Project 1:
During International Project Week, intercultural and international cooperation is the focus. By, among other things, setting up and conducting a research project as an international project group, these aspects will be addressed during the collaboration. To achieve this, there will be a physical exchange with several partner colleges in Europe. There will also be an active focus on the various aspects of intercultural communication and cooperation in working lectures and (online)groupmeetings.
Project 2:
The work floor simulation focuses on setting up and running a “proper” laboratory. Students are guided with guided assignments and in meetings towards being able to successfully run the lab.
