Content
PT-care 6 consists of 2 courses of 5 EC that are interwoven with each other. Course 1: MSK spine and course 2: skills & integration.
This course concerns MSK spine and covers the more theoretical part of FT care 6.
In this course the patient with spinal related musculoskeletal complaints related to the upper or lower extremity is central. In this course, the student is offered concepts and models to develop clinical reasoning of the patient with non-specific musculoskeletal spinal complaints.
The focus of this course is on patients with musculoskeletal complaints related to the upper or lower extremity. In this course, the student is presented with concepts that will help them further to develop themselves in clinical reasoning for patients with spinal related musculoskeletal complaints. These concepts emphasize the complaints and the influencing biopsychosocial factors. The student will learn about models and concepts for assessment and treatment of a patient with spinal related musculoskeletal complaints.
The theoretical background will be assessed with a written theory exam.
