Patient Centred Communication 

3CD-C. 20. The student, in the context of a physiotherapeutic consultation, can independently conduct a consultation/counselling interview with a client, in lay terms and in compliance with the rules of professional communication.

Content

In this course, students will learn about patients with complex problems. The course has two parts. The first part, Patient-Centered Communication, teaches theory and practical skills for different communication techniques used by physiotherapists, like pain education and motivational interviewing. The second part, Community of Practice, focuses on practising physiotherapy skills and clinical reasoning in complex situations. In the Community of Practice, students share knowledge and experiences on a specific topic to learn and reflect on their own practice, helping them handle problems and challenges bette
