Competences
A sufficient level is achieved when students deliberately choose their own solutions for problems or assignments with a divergent nature, and when they demonstrate the ability to employ relevant competences, skill, and knowledge in doing so, based on research and experiment.
Learning Outcomes
LO 1: Relate
The student selects and responds to sensations, perceptions, intuitions, environments, and social contexts, developing these relationships into emerging artistic motives, motivations, and practices.
LO 2: Investigate
The student develops an artistic and conceptual approach through an increasingly independent and focused process of making, reflecting, and researching, in which relevant sources, references, and contexts are examined, and first artistic concepts and propositions are articulated.
LO 3: Materialise
As part of an increasingly independent artistic process, the student purposefully engages with material, form, intuition, reflection, and contemplation, and investigates the qualities and possibilities of different materials, techniques and technologies, showing a gradual awareness of how these shape the development and meaning of their work.
LO 4: Position
The student compares different artistic positions within artistic, cultural, social, and global contexts and relates their own work to selected perspectives, considering emerging tensions, sensitivities, and points of connection in order to articulate a developing artistic stance.
LO 5: Practice
The student organises aspects of their artistic process and collaborates within a developing practice, shares work through targeted presentations and emerging networking, and makes initial choices in relation to audience, presentation formats, and professional development toward a more self-directed and sustainable practice.

Content
In the Semester 6 Fine Art Studio programme, the student focuses on their artistic development and working process. The Fine Art Studio programme embeds the Labs and Professional Practices course, including the Theory elements. Emphasis lies on articulating an individual artistic voice and positioning in relation to the artistic and professional field.
Students will work cooperatively towards presenting their work in different group exhibitions on external locations in a public event, called “MayDays”.
