Content

CM
In this phase, exploration is central. You write and produce music in a variety of contexts, such as composition, media, songwriting, and production. The assignments provide guidance in developing your emerging craftsmanship. You collect your work and feedback in a portfolio and demonstrate that you have taken a first step toward your own artistic “voice.”

Windband
You develop your instrumental and artistic skills through your main subject, secondary subject, practical classes, theory, and internship/work-based learning. You apply professional knowledge in basic professional situations, explore your artistic identity, and collaborate on artistic projects. In addition, you practice communicating, presenting, and giving simple lessons within your field.

Jazz
You work on instrumental mastery, artistic application, and ensemble playing, within thematic periods with guest teachers. You develop professional knowledge and skills, explore your artistic identity, and create music together. You also work on collaboration, communication, presentation, and giving basic lessons.

Classical
You focus on instrumental mastery and ensemble playing. You develop professional knowledge and apply it in simple professional situations. At the same time, you explore your artistic identity, collaborate on music, and practice communication, presentation, and giving basic lessons.

Choir
You develop your conducting skills through a practice choir and supporting vocal lessons. You work with core repertoire and perform it in familiar contexts. You connect your artistic vision to the repertoire, develop collaboration and communication skills, and learn to respond to the needs of your musical environment.
