Inhoud

How can health care professionals contribute to prevention of non-communicable diseases by targeted eHealth programs?
During a two weeks program, you will work on an assigment through groupwork (Dutch and international students), which consists of making an eHealth program aimed at prevention in a global perspective.
The IP aims to support finding creative solutions by using communication and information technology for 21st century healthcare risks. Therefore, you and your group make an analysis of a specific target group in order to explain the determining factors for health risks for a certain non-communicable disease (NCD). The result will be a targeted eHealth program, to be presented to the client (healthcare organizations or patient groups). You will interview experts in the field and will be supported by lectures and a coach.
You reflect on the nurse' contribution in the specific health situation, as well as on the possibilities to transfer local solutions to other contexts, e.g. other countries.
