At the end of this course, successful students will be able to:
- give clear detailed descriptions and presentations on complex subjects, integrating sub-themes, expanding and supporting points of view at some length with subsidiary points, reasons, and relevant examples, and rounding off with an appropriate conclusion (C1)
- employ the full range of sounds in English with sufficient control to ensure intelligibility throughout and, despite some accent features from other language(s) being retained, will be able to articulate virtually all the sounds of the target language. (C1)
- Analyze and evaluate the historical, political, economic, social and cultural aspects determining different business environments in various countries and regions
- Appreciate the consequences of doing business in different countries and regions

Inhoud
ICB (toets 1)
In the ICB4 portion of this course, students prepare themselves for their year abroad, exploring historical, social, cultural issues and current issues of their year chosen year abroad destination(s). By the end of the course, students should have a clear idea about what it takes to personally engage in the country of their choice.
BUC8 (toets 2)
In the communication portion of this course, students will polish their presentation skills, focusing on oral and visual storytelling, structure and pronunciation.
