This student has completed the minor Master Up Your English.
The minor is focused on improving students’ English language skills in preparation for an English-taught master or a career abroad. After completing the minor, students are independent users of the English language, and able to use the language with relatively high accuracy in complex situations (B2/C1 level CEFR). Students have improved their English speaking, writing, listening, reading, and grammar, and have achieved proficiency level B2/C1 (6.5 IELTS) of English or above. They are thus able to conduct research in English, and are prepared to write a master’s thesis in English. Students can present themselves well in an academic environment using suitable and (largely) correct English.
