Competences

  • Connecting to the Environment
  • Research & Reflection
  • Artistic Ceation

Level 3: Positioning & Profiling
A sufficient level is achieved when students demonstrate the ability to formulate their own objectives and conduct a comprehensive execution that demonstrates an integrated mastery of all competences.

Learning Outcomes
LO 1: Relate
Being in the world, the student develops artistic work through a conscious engagement with selected sensations, perceptions, intuitions, environments, and social contexts, transforming these relationships into artistic motives, motivations, and practices that generate meaning, connection, and multiple perspectives.

LO 2: Investigate
The student articulates and applies an artistic methodology through an iterative process of making, reflecting, and researching, in which sources, references, experiences, and contexts are critically examined and interconnected, and reflective analysis of process and outcomes leads to coherent artistic concepts and propositions.

LO 3: Materialise
As part of their artistic methodology, the student engages in a personal and experimental creative process in which material, form, intuition, reflection, and contemplation interact, and in which materials, techniques, and technologies are intentionally employed, shaping the development and meaning of the work through coherent material and process-based choices.

Inhoud

In Studio 7, students consolidate their artistic practice into a coherent and self-directed professional trajectory. Working under self-determined yet professional conditions, they further develop a sustained, self-generating practice in which making, research, and presentation are fully integrated.

Students define the scope and direction of their work and translate their artistic ambitions into a feasible and consistent working process. Through iterative production, critical reflection, and feedback, they refine their individual vision, criteria, and working method, and demonstrate increasing control over conceptual, material, and contextual aspects of their practice.

The Studio functions as a flexible environment for production and presentation, which may extend into physical, social, or virtual contexts. Students prepare for professional modes of presentation, including exhibition-making and public articulation of their work.
