You can come up with this question yourself or it can be a question from a client: A festival, stage, arts center, band, choir, orchestra, advertising agency, artist collective, you name it! The question must challenge you to show who you are as a professional musician and how you position yourself in the field in which you are or want to be active. You can come up with and/or execute the project alone or together with other students. You carry out the graduation project independently and are coached (intervision) by supervisors of the program. Individual guidance takes place through consultation.
In the graduation project you work on the following content:
- applying a broad and up-to-date range of (music) professional knowledge and skills in a complex professional situation or context (1);
- giving shape to musical expressions based on your own artistic vision and identity (2);
- signalling developments in professional practice and society and positioning yourself and your own work in relation to these (3);
- evaluating your own and/or other people's actions and musical/artistic expressions on the basis of reflection and research (4);
- applying appropriate communication and social skills in complex professional situations or contexts (5);
- independently and sustainably designing professional situations and networks in which you realise your ambitions (6).
